For the past few years, I coached the UT Dallas golf team. However, prior to this, I played for the women’s golf team for all four years of my Undergraduate Education. I have been playing golf for ten years, and I have played competitively for the entirety of those ten years. It is the hardest yet most rewarding hobby. The unique thing about this sport is that it mirrors the ambiguous path of life more closely than any sport. As in any circumstance, I enter my competitive rounds seeking feedback. If I perform above expected, I build confidence. If I perform below expected, I get excellent feedback, which gives me the opportunity to improve and better prepare for my next round. Since graduating I am constantly recruited to participate in scrambles where I can hit a long drive from the Women's Tees! Playing golf is a life long commitment I do not intend to it give up!
